Running over several days around the UAE National Day, the Mother of the Nation Festival in Abu Dhabi is a family friendly event named for Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak. Attracting over 200,000 visitors, the festival offers family activities, food, art installations, rides, games and cultural experiences. Vibes has supported the event since 2017.
With a staff of 390, the Vibes team manned entrances, ticket points, and other key areas in the venue. Our ticketing teams handled a large volume of on-the-day sales, while scanning staff kept the queue moving as they validated entries quickly. Ushers guided attendees throughout the festival venue, from activity zones to food stalls to art installations.
Strategically placed info desks provided visitors with information and guidance on a variety of event-related queries. Overseeing all team members were on-site supervisors who coordinated staff, repositioned teams as needed, and ensured that every area was appropriately staffed. In addition, on-site managers brought their leadership skills in events of this scale, forming a link between the team and the organizers.
