Metallica took over Etihad Park during the Yasalam Formula 1 weekend, delivering a night of heavy rock that played out in front of a record crowd of more than 25,000 fans. As the circuit emptied and the concert site filled, the atmosphere shifted fast, loud, and intense. From the first arrivals to the final encore, the challenge was keeping the pace of the night moving without slowing the crowd’s momentum.
Vibes deployed 820 team members across the venue to support admissions, guest movement, hospitality, merchandise, and operational back-of-house activity. Teams worked around natural pressure points, adjusting in real time as arrivals peaked, crowd density increased, and demand surged across service areas. The focus stayed on keeping people moving, spaces clear, and services accessible without pulling attention away from the performance.
What made the night work was not just scale, but control. Even as volume and energy rose, operations stayed measured and responsive, allowing the concert to feel raw and unrestrained on stage while remaining organised and secure throughout the site.
