On 31 December 2017, Katy Perry headlined New Year's Eve at Du Arena in Abu Dhabi, drawing a near-capacity crowd of over 30,000. With doors opening early and anticipation building toward midnight, the operational requirements were straightforward: process arrivals efficiently, maintain circulation between seating and concessions, and deliver VIP service without disrupting the main event flow.
Vibes positioned 350 staff throughout the venue, covering entry points, circulation routes, premium sections, and hospitality zones from doors to close. We established dedicated lanes at admissions, positioned ushers to facilitate smooth seating, and set up bar operations for concentrated service periods. The mandate was direct: rapid onboarding, efficient interval transitions, and controlled egress after the finale.
Ticketing staff at the gate were the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone from the start. They managed on site ticket sales, handled collections, and resolved entry issues with efficiency and professionalism, keeping lines moving during arrival surges and reducing delays.
