
On 27th January 2024, Andrea Bocelli returned to Abu Dhabi for a one-night classical program that drew audiences from across the region. Performing at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi, his show featured a full orchestra and a choir. A formal seating plan and a mid-show interval meant tight timings for guest movement, quiet yet attentive service in premium areas, and accurate wayfinding before and after the performance.
Vibes deployed 156 staff across guest touchpoints from doors to close. We set admissions and aisle support, positioned teams for VIP lounge requests, and readied F&B for short, high-pressure service windows around the interval. The objective was to keep arrivals efficient, keep premium service discreet, and keep the audience focused on the music.
On the floor, seating ushers guided guests to their seats, directed movement through aisles, and supported safe exits between set changes while maintaining a calm concert environment. VIP hosts and hostesses managed premium guest access and requests, coordinating handoffs with seating support to keep flow consistent. The result was an orderly New Year event that ran smoothly from entry to show close.
